Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of former Everton striker Apostolos Vellios from Iraklis Thessaloniki on a four-year contract.
Vellios moved to Goodison Park in January 2011 but failed to make a mark on Merseyside, scoring just three times in 22 appearances.
He moved to Belgian side Lierse at the end of the 2013-14 season before returning to his first club Iraklis last year, going on to score 11 goals in 27 games.
He becomes the first signing of the new Philippe Montanier era, the Frenchman having signed a two-year contract as Forest head coach on Monday.
