The Stoke City forward tweeted his birthday wishes to his team-mate, who despite being born in March, shares a passing resemblance to the Christian diety.
Joe Allen's birthday may be in March, but the Welsh midfielder received a birthday wish from a Stoke City team-mate on Christmas Day.
Club joker Jon Walters is not the first person to notice Allen's similar appearance to Jesus Christ, but he got in on the joke on December 25, tweeting his team-mate to wish him a Happy Birthday, writing "Best wishes to Joe Allen on his birthday today @Jesus"
