Tevez scores first Shenhua goal against Aussie club

The ex-Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus striker has opened his account in China against Australian semi-pro outfit Sydney United 58.

Shanghai Shenhua have warmed up for their AFC Champions League qualifier against Brisbane Roar with a 3-0 friendly win over Sydney United 58 on Wednesday night.

A brace from Obafemi Martins and Carlos Tevez's debut goal for his new side confirmed the warm-up win for the Chinese Super League (CSL) club at the Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai.

In just his second friendly appearance for Shenhua since signing from Boca Juniors, Tevez doubled the hosts' lead after half-time, with Martins scoring either side of the break.
