The leaders would like their rivals to drop points but the Blues have
little interest in their winning run, preferring to focus on their own
games.
Thibaut Courtois insists Chelsea have been paying little attention to
Tottenham's stunning run, but concedes the Blues would sleep easier if
their closest challengers dropped points in the title race.
Mauricio Pochettino's side are four points adrift of the Premier
League leaders after embarking on a brilliant nine-match winning streak,
their latest success coming against north London rivals Arsenal at
White Hart Lane on Sunday.
However, Chelsea responded to a damaging 2-0 loss at Manchester
United last month with comprehensive wins over Southampton and Everton.
And with a favourable run in that sees them play Middlesbrough, West
Brom, Watford and Sunderland, Antonio Conte's men remain strong
favourites to win the title.
Blues goalkeeper Courtois insists his team are only concerned with their own performances.
"We never look at Tottenham. Of course we want them to drop points
but the most important thing is to look at ourselves," he told the
club's official website.
"With Southampton at home and Everton away, Tottenham probably
thought we would drop points, so to win both games is very significant.
"Now we just have to win our home games, that will be very important."
