Captain America and his new lady have arrived!
Chris Evans, 35, and Jenny Slate, 34, made their red carpet (technically, green carpet) debut as a couple Saturday at the premiere of the new animated film The Secret Life of Pets in New York. The actress and former SNL star, recently seen on HBO's Girls, provides the voice of Gidget, a white Pomeranian.
At the premiere, Slate wore a red lace boat neck dress while Evans sported a light polo shirt and dark pants. The two posed while standing close together, with her hand resting on his chest.
"The Secret Life of Pets was fantastic! @jennyslate was a personal favorite," Evans tweeted.
He also said her co-star, Kevin Hart, was "hilarious too."
