Ricardo Carvalho's Shanghai SIPG move confirmed by AFC Champions League

It has been revealed on the tournament's Twitter account that the defender has moved to the Chinese Super League side, though the club are yet to officially confirm the deal.

Shanghai SIPG have completed the signing of former Chelsea and Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho, according to the AFC Champions League's Twitter account.

The Chinese Super League outfit, now managed by ex-Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas, landed Oscar for a reported £52m earlier in the transfer window.


And it has been revealed by the AFC Champions League's Twitter account that they have strengthened their squad further with the addition of Carvalho, though a deal is still yet to be officially announced by Shanghai SIPG.
