Hungary midfielder's effort against Portugal in the group stage.

Shaqiri suggests that a mass vote from Hungary fans may have influenced
the decision to award the Euro 2016 Goal of the Tournament to Zoltan
Gera.
The Stoke City midfielder appeared set to win the fan-nominated award
with his stunning overhead kick against Poland, but Gera clinched the
prize with his strike against Portugal
UEFA’s technical observers have ranked Shaqiri’s goal as the best in
the tournament, beating Hal Robson-Kanu’s individual effort against
Belgium, and the Switzerland international insists his was the best.
"I'm not disappointed that my goal was not elected. But everyone knows that my goal was the most beautiful!” Shaqiri told
