Ferencváros’ Ebere Orji targets league title after Hungarian Cup success

Ebere Orji
Having helped her team successfully defend their cup title in ruthless fashion, the forward is gunning for a double this season.

Nigeria international Ebere Orji is eyeing the Hungarian league crown after Wednesday’s Women Cup final triumph.

Two strikes each from Sladjana Bulatovic and Fenyvesi Evelin propelled Ferencváros to a 6-0 victory against ETO Gyor at Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium, with Poljak Allera and Bernadett Zagor completing the rout.

After silencing the much-vaunted Gyor, the Super Falcon star freely admits that she is now dreaming of the league title.

''I want to thank God for all he have done for me ,it mean a lot to me because we are the first team in history to win the league three times in a row,'' Orji told Goal.

''We won’t rest on our oars here because the league is still on and winning the title next month will be a good way to end the season.''

A win against Viktória Szombathely in their next league outing on Sunday will move them closer to the diadem ahead of closest challenger MTK Hungaria.
