Peter Odemwingie no doubt is a father who keeps his promises. The former West Bromwich Albion striker said he would give his daughter a goal before retiring from football, and he fulfilled that on his debut for Madura United.
The 35-year-old who spent several years in the English league joined the Indonesian topflight side and became an instant hit on first appearance.
With his team leading 1-0 against Bali United Busam, he came off the bench to score the second goal from the penalty spot in the 74th minute to hand them a 2-0 victory.
And the former Nigeria international took to social media to establish that he is a man of his word.
