The Senegal international found the net after coming off the bench in a 3-1 defeat by Istanbul Basaksehir on Sunday.
Senegal striker Demba Ba marked his return to football with a goal in Besiktas’ 3-1 loss by Emmanuel Adebayor’s Istanbul Basaksehir in the Super Lig on Sunday.
After a nine-month absence from football following a horrific leg break whilst playing for Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua in July last year, Ba returned to action when he was introduced for Cenk Tosun in the 78th minute with Besiktas already 3-0 down courtesy of an Adebayor strike and a Cengiz Under brace.
Former Newcastle United and Chelsea striker Ba, 31, re-joined the club he left midway through 2015 to move to the CSL during the transfer window in January, but has returned to the Super Lig as he looks to regain full fitness.
