The teenager becomes the latest Blues man to venture
out as the club send him to gain experience at one of their London
rivals on a temporary deal.
Charlton made their first signing under new manager Karl Robinson as Dasilva took his first training session at his new club on Friday, and he will remain in south-east London until June 30.
The 18-year-old lifted the UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup last season, and he becomes Chelsea's 37th loan star after Charly Musonda and Kenedy returned from Real Betis and Watford respectively. Dasilva could feature as Charlton face Bristol Rovers on January 2 and spoke of his delight at the move.
“I’m delighted to sign here on loan until the end of the season and I cannot wait to get started," he told Charlton's official website. "This is my first loan move, so I’m itching to get going and I’m looking forward to getting familiar with everything around here.
“I see myself as an attack-minded player. I’m not the tallest but I’m very quick and this is the next step for me in my development as a player. I think that Charlton is the right place for me to take that step.”
