Ronaldo targets more titles after enjoying 'dream year'

The Real Madrid and Portugal superstar won silverware for club and country in 2016, but hopes the next 12 months will be just as productive.

Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to land ‘many titles’ over the course of the next 12 months after enjoying a ‘dream year’ in 2016.

The Real Madrid superstar tasted Champions League glory at club level before helping Portugal to the European Championship crown over the summer.

Since then, he has added a UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup to his collective roll of honour and a fourth Ballon d’Or to his individual trophy haul.

Topping those achievements will take some doing, with the focus narrowed in 2017 by the absence of a major international competition.
