The Hull City midfielder was injured in a horrendous
clash of heads with Chelsea defender Gary Cahill but he has now been
allowed to leave treatment.
The former Tottenham midfielder sustained a potentially life-threatening injury in a sickening clash of heads with Chelsea’s Gary Cahill during Hull’s fixture at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
Mason made “excellent progress” at St Mary’s Hospital in London, and was visited by Cahill and Chelsea captain John Terry.
Hull have now revealed that Mason has been discharged, and the club’s medical staff have heaped praise upon the care that the 25-year-old has received.
“The number of messages offering support during Ryan’s recovery has been quite overwhelming,” said club doctor Mark Waller.
