Rivers United tie a must win for us, says Nasarawa United's Williams

The Solid Miners currently sit 10 points behind the leaders and the defender insists they can't forfeit any more points if they want to be taken as a title contender.

The Solid Miners face the Caf Confederations Cup campaigners in a rescheduled league encounter at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

"Rivers United isn't a team to joke with so we can't afford to drop points against them," Williams told Goal.

"We believe that victory will put us with a chance of competing with the title contenders. No one should rule us out of reckoning.

"The league has not been won yet. The battle for the top prize will be very interesting.

"There is no doubt that we can improve. We can not afford to drop our heads," he concluded.
